Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of Riyad Bank agreed on Monday to appoint Abdulmajeed Abdullah Almobarak as the new CEO.

Almobarak had previously worked at Riyad Bank from 1991 to 2013, during which he assumed many responsibilities and leadership positions, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

The bank noted that Almobarak was re-elected as deputy CEO to the bank in 2014, until he was appointed the acting CEO in October.

In September 2016, the bank’s approved the resignation of former CEO Talal Ibrahim Al Qudaibi as of the end of October.
